Q6: What’s the difference between a manicure and pedicure?

Manicure and pedicure are two distinct treatments. While manicure involves cleaning, shaping and polishing your hands, pedicure focuses on cleaning and beautifying your legs and toenails. For a detailed comparison between a mani and pedi, read our blog HERE

Q7: What’s the difference between normal polish and gel polish?

Normal nail polish, or nail varnish, is the most common and accessible nail polish, which can easily be found at any drugstore or beauty site. Normal polish is easy to apply and remove at a professional salon, or even at home, without any professional equipment. However, normal polish takes forever to dry and can easily chips within days.

If you’re tired of your nail polish chipping, peeling or simply not lasting the week, it may be time to make the switch to gel polish. What make gel-polish better, find out HERE.

Q8: How are acrylic and SNS nails different?

Acrylic and SNS are the two most popular nail extensions that add both length and strength to your natural nails. However, they’re quite different in formula and application.

While acrylic combines a polymer (powder) and a monomer (liquid) to form a blob of dough, which create a strong, colourless layer on top of your nails when it cures, SNS nails, otherwise known as dip powder manicure, requires soaking your nails in colour powder from 2-3 times to create required tone, form and strength.

For a detailed comparison between a acrylic and dip powder nails, find out HERE.

Q9: How much is it for nail art?

We do not have a fixed price for nail art. The cost could range from $10.00 and up. It depends on how many fingers you want to get designed and the style of design. The higher technique and the material required for the design will also affect the cost.

Q10: How do I book for nail art?

Including a nail design in your reservation is essential for us to allocate the right technician with the right skills, hence providing the best outcomes.

If you’re booking via phone call, simply notify our staffs that you would like a hand-drawn nail art. Otherwise, if you’re proceeding your booking online, simply select ‘Other Extras’, then select ‘Extra $$ Designs’.

Despite pre-booking, the accurate cost of a nail art will be confirmed by your nail technician on the spot. However, if you would like an accurate quote ahead of your visit, simply DM us via Facebook & Instagram or email us with actual pictures of the design.

Please keep in mind that nail art is a form of fine art, no one piece of art is the exactly the same. Nail Art are also affected significantly by length and shape of your nails. Result always varies.
