The Nail Bar Beauty & Co. – Full Terms and Conditions

By receiving services at The Nail Bar Beauty & Co., you agree to the following policies. 

Appointments:

Credit Card Requirement: To secure an appointment, we require a valid credit card. No upfront charges are applied unless a late cancellation or no-show occurs.
Cancellation Policy: We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a 20% fee charged to the card on file. If you do not show up for your appointment, a 50% no-show fee will be charged.
Service Time & Arrival: The time scheduled for your appointment does not include selecting colors or designs. For the best experience, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Late arrivals of more than 10 minutes may lead to reduced service time or rescheduling, and we may not be able to accommodate your full service.
Rebooking: To avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure your preferred time slot, we recommend booking your next appointment before you leave the salon.

Late Arrivals:

Punctuality Matters: Please respect your appointment time. If you anticipate being late, contact us in advance. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we cannot guarantee that the full service will be provided, which may affect the results of your treatment. We will do our best to accommodate you, but reduced time may limit what we can offer.
Impact on Services: If your late arrival prevents us from providing the full service, you will still be responsible for the full appointment fee. This ensures that we respect our other clients’ appointment times and keep our schedule running smoothly.

Cancellations:

24-Hour Notice: Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. A 20% fee will be charged for cancellations made within this period. This fee helps compensate for the time reserved specifically for you.
No-Show Policy: If you miss an appointment without notifying us, a 50% fee will be applied. No-shows significantly impact our schedule, as your technician is set aside to serve you during that time. Continuous no-shows (three or more) will result in your account being frozen until all fees are paid in full.

Deposits:

Non-Refundable Deposits: For appointments over $150 or group bookings of three or more, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit will be applied toward your final bill. Any changes to your appointment must be made at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the cancellation policy will apply, and your deposit will be forfeited.

Children & Pets:

Salon Environment: For safety reasons, children and pets must not disrupt the service. Please ensure your children or pets do not distract you or your technician. Pets must be kept on a leash unless they are service animals. You will be responsible for any damage caused by pets or children during your visit.
Service Animals: Service animals are welcome at our salon. However, for safety and hygiene reasons, all other pets must be leashed at all times.

Refunds & Service Policy:

No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for services rendered. If you change your mind about the service or design after it is completed, we will not issue a refund or credit.
No Guarantee on Regular Polish: We do not guarantee the longevity of regular polish, as it is prone to faster wear and tear compared to gel polish. If you opt for regular polish, please be aware that we are unable to offer free repairs or fixes.

Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your service, you must notify us within 48 hours of your appointment. We offer a free touch-up service within seven days of your original appointment to address any issues. To schedule this, you must provide a clear description of the problem and accompanying photos (if necessary).

Conditions for Touch-Ups: The following conditions void our free touch-up guarantee:

  • If you have received services from another salon after your visit.
  • If you have not followed the aftercare instructions provided by our technicians.
  • If the nail damage appears intentional or due to negligence (e.g., not following advice from your technician).
  • If you attempt to repair or alter your nails yourself or seek assistance from another technician.
  • If you do not notify us of the problem within 48 hours of your appointment.
  • If pre-existing conditions or infections are the cause of nail damage or dissatisfaction.
  • If you cannot schedule your return within seven days of the original appointment.

Nail Damage & Fix Policy:

  • Free Repairs for Gel Polish: If your gel polish chips or lifts within seven days of your appointment, we will repair it free of charge. To schedule a repair, send photos of the damaged nails to the salon you visited, and our team will arrange a complimentary fix.
  • Regular Polish & Children’s Services: This fix policy does not apply to regular polish or children’s services.
  • Breakages & Care: Breakages are typically caused by improper care or external factors beyond our control, and therefore, we cannot guarantee the durability of nails after your appointment. While we will advise on proper aftercare to help maintain the longevity of your nails, we cannot offer free repairs for breakages resulting from lack of care or misuse.
  • Aftercare Responsibility: Proper maintenance of your nails is crucial for long-lasting results. Any damage caused by external factors, neglect, or improper care after the first 48 hours will not be covered under the free repair policy. Repairs outside of this timeframe will incur additional fees.

Change of Mind:

Changes After Application: Once color or length has been applied to your nails, any changes you request (such as a different color or adjusting the nail length) will incur additional fees.
Real-Time Feedback: We will check with you throughout the service to ensure you are happy with each step. The service is provided based on your instructions, so please carefully review your nails during the process. If you are unsure about anything, ask questions or request adjustments while your nails are being done to avoid extra fees.
Custom Pricing: The cost of your service is determined by the specific work performed and may vary from person to person based on their needs. If you know exactly what you want, you can request a quote beforehand. Please note that quotes are only valid for three business days.
Extra Charges: Additional services such as removal of old products, French tips, new nail extensions, changes in products, or extra length may result in extra charges.

Additional Fees:

Service Adjustments & Extras: The price of your service is determined based on the work done and may vary from person to person. If you know exactly what you want, you can request a quote in advance. Quotes are valid for up to three business days. However, prices may increase for additional services such as:
  • Removal of previous products (e.g., gel, acrylics)
  • French tips
  • New nail tips or extensions
  • Changes in products
  • Extra length or intricate designs

Wrong Location:

Location Mistakes: If you arrive at the wrong location and cannot make it to the correct salon, a 50% fee will apply for the missed appointment. Please double-check your booking location to avoid any issues.

Allergies & Product Sensitivities:

Allergies: We cannot guarantee that products used in our services are nut-free or free from cross-contamination with nut products. If you have any allergies, please notify us before your service so we can take the necessary precautions. However, we recommend that clients with severe allergies exercise caution when receiving our services.

Payments:

Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment systems. Tips are always appreciated and can be provided via cash or card.
Card on File: To reduce the risk of fraud and ensure a smooth payment process, we require a card to be on file at the time of booking. This card will only be charged in case of a late cancellation or no-show.
Gratuity: Tips are greatly appreciated and can be provided in cash or via card through our booking system. While cash tips are preferred, we understand that using a card may be more convenient for some clients.
